entrance to nowhere

On the beach there was that gate standing alone. This the modified picture.

Impressive. I might have tried for an additional angle to make clear the size of the torii -- it could be the size of a toy or much larger. Perhaps it's because the area beyond the middle ground is only black? Just a thought.

@GJC : I really appreciate your feedback. A lower angle would have been better but I don't have the chance to go back there :)

Is is a minute torii or a big torii? You image makes me think of an arrangement on a tray...nevertheless, beautiful!

Thank you very much Gabriela. Not a big toori but big enough to go through without bending the head :) For some reason I took the picture from high level but I realise that it was not a good option.
