in the mangrove

Picture taken on an other island of southern Japan. We rent a canoe to go inside the mangrove.

Thank you very much for all your comments.
You can see the same picture in bigger size and better resolution on my new blog.

Don't the roots look like feet being soaked in cool water? It's a beautiful image - and it's great in B&W!

You were very inspired to convert it to B&W! A mangrove forest offers great opportunities for a photographer......only looking at those trunks and I wish I were there!

A very nice composed image. Also the light and the b/w processing is great.

Your b&w work is very fine. I like the light here and the composition, too.
