Wolfgang Prigge from Granby, Quebec, CanadaAh, in a rubber dinghy, no wonder you felt small... You are right, breeching is the technical term for a whale "jumping" out of the water. 14 Mar 2008 12:20pm Laurent from Lyon, FranceTrès impressionnant ! 14 Mar 2008 12:26pm Pavla from Saint James City, United StatesWow....a little scary....but very cool! 14 Mar 2008 1:03pm MadScientist from Düsseldorf, GermanySuper shot! I guess this was an exciting voyage! 14 Mar 2008 2:32pm Nataly from Santa Monica, United StatesThis is a truly "Close encounter", so amazing and so brave, both of you, I mean the whale as well. From where did you take this photo!?!? 15 Mar 2008 3:57am @tokyo-drifter: Thank you everybody for all your comments. The camera is the same but I am not the photographer of this picture as it is me in the dinghy... 15 Mar 2008 1:48pm Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanI wonder....what was going through your head at this very close encounter????? 15 Mar 2008 2:39pm @Japanalia: Well it was a magic moment. Both the whales (they were 2) and I were not afraid of each other... Ronnie 2¢ from London, United KingdomI think “magic moment” near sums this up! . . more ‘moment of a lifetime’, perhaps! 16 Mar 2008 12:38pm Daroru from Amagasaki, JapanOh wow.... I'm wondering more about my question yesterday now... This was an amazing cruise. 16 Mar 2008 10:48pm |
