full moon

Posted by akarui (Kagoshima, Japan) on 22 March 2008 in Miscellaneous.

To take a good picture of the moon we need a telescope. I have tried to take it with my camera using all the zoom possible and I was quiet surprise by the result. Not really bad don't you think so. A little crop to get a square.

Thank you very much for all your comments.
You can see the same picture in bigger size and better resolution on my new blog.

Terrific. I also saw this moon here in Kyoto and made an attempt at it, but nothing near as fine as this.

great shot! next time you take a pic of it, i'd be interested to see what might happen if you increase the exposure like 1/4 of a second longer :)

C'est étonnant en effet, car il y a pas mal de détail. J'adore la lune quand elle est comme ici au maximum de sa rondeur, c'est toujours magique ces soirs là.
