where is the limit?

Kagoshima. A complex picture where the reflections on the water surface mix with the real shore and rocks...limit between dreams and reality?

Je trouve cette photo déstabilisante au premier abord, il faut trouver des repères pour la saisir. En fait je pense que c'est à cause du morceau de bois à gauche et au milieu qui coupe en partie l'image en deux et cela perturbe la lecture car on cherche à partir de là une symétrie qui n'existe pas (était-ce voulu?). Mais d'un autre coté cela force à étudier la photo, à la détailler et finalement le but recherché est atteint : on s'attarde sans passer de suite à la suivante...

Beautiful. I would have liked to have seen more of the upper area though just to make more sense of the reflection.

Interesting anmd intriguing experimentation! I'm tempted by the same thing and people always tell me that I have to introduce some part of the reality in the shot, not only the reflection. And yet....I go for the reflection, for the illusion most of the times.
