Michael Skorulski from Cigel, Hong KongGorgeous! The textures, colors and details are super. A very quaint and romantic house! 23 May 2008 5:05am Barbara from Florida, United StatesOh so charming, lovely and old. Beautiful light and clarity. Nice framing of the shot. I like it just the way it is but wonder how it would be without the left side of the structure cut off, unless there was other distractions there. 23 May 2008 5:10am @Barbara: Thank you Barbara. I took all the house but I have crop the walls a little to concentrate on the facade which is better in my opinion. Ian Bramham from Manchester, United KingdomLovely photo of a charming old building!...your photo is very sharp but I can't quite make out the date above the window - I can see 3 of the digits: 1*93 but the crucial number looks like it is partly missing (it looks like a 2 but I doubt that very much!). These vernacular buildings look so great because of their human scale and the fact that they are made of local natural materials makes them feel so at home in the landscape. 23 May 2008 9:16am @Ian Bramham: Thank you Ian. I have zoom on the picture and it seems to be a zero but not very sure. I did look on internet about this historical village and they start on the 11th century to the 15th century. Veronelle from Lens, Francemerci pour ton message de bienvenue......autre lieu........autre ambiance 23 May 2008 10:25am Henry from Boston, United StatesReally nice shot. Great texture, great color and the slight intrigue of that man in the window. May 2008 7:00pm standley from brou-sur-chantereine, FranceTrès belle photo. J'aime beaucoup ton cadrage! 23 May 2008 8:50pm Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaBeautiful composition. The colours and textures are marvelous. Well spotted, well captured. L'as-tu faite ? 23 May 2008 10:12pm @Evelyne Dubos: Merci Evelyne. MadScientist from Düsseldorf, GermanyWhat a lovely old house! A little weather-beaten but still firm! Really beautiful shot! 23 May 2008 10:14pm MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomA very beautiful shot, full of character and history. I love the way you've captured the man looking out of the window. 23 May 2008 11:19pm Sandrine from Cincinnati, United StatesLove it! I hadn't noticed the man! Excellent capture! 24 May 2008 1:42am |
