Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaStupendous. I'm sure this will be one of my favorites of the day. The composition is so pleasing. 28 May 2008 9:37am Helma from Tehran, Iranwow ! very nice forgraund and back graund too ! colorful & wonderful shot ! thank you. 28 May 2008 10:51am MahGol from Tehran, Irangreat details .. superb .. i enjoyed looking at it for minutes .. 28 May 2008 10:52am lisa v from gawler, Australiaballs of dry grass? we call them haybales over here :) 28 May 2008 1:03pm @lisa v: Thank you lisa. I didn't know the name in English. I will change the title. Tilala from Bordeaux, FranceElle est très belle celle-ci, lumière, composition, couleurs... C'est beau la campagne ! 28 May 2008 1:23pm MadScientist from Düsseldorf, GermanyVery beautiful and peaceful landscape, beautifully framed. 28 May 2008 2:57pm yiannis krikis from thessaloniki, Greeceall the summer is here - the best image for today 28 May 2008 3:12pm Ted from South Wales, United KingdomReally like this shot...not sure about the colour of the frame (distracting) and I might have cropped tighter either side...but a nice shot all the same. 28 May 2008 4:10pm zOOm from Paris, FrancePour moi, c'est vraiment ça, l'été ! Le jaune du blé est magnifique. Superbe rendu ! 28 May 2008 7:05pm pierre from athis mons, FranceQuel cliché "old fashion" ! La nostalgie du bon vieux temps ?! Parfaitement réussi, j'apprécie ! 28 May 2008 7:35pm Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaFantastic shot, I like how the eye is drawn along to the trees and then the other hay bales lying around. The colours and sky are brilliant, and good choice of frame to accentuate the shot.Good one, Akarui. 28 May 2008 7:38pm standley from brou-sur-chantereine, FranceTrès belle composition Olivier. L'éclairage est magique! 28 May 2008 9:05pm Jeffster from Long Island, United StatesBeautiful image. I would consider cropping out the part of the haybale in the front - right. It's a little bit distracting, and does not add to the photo.. 28 May 2008 9:16pm @Jeffster: Thank you very much for your cropping suggestion. I have just tried it and the result is nice too but I finally prefer this version because the haybale gives more depth to the picture. May be a different framing would have been better... Go ahead with your suggestions, I really appreciate. Evelyne Dubos from Le Mans, FranceC'est beau comme un tableau de Millet... (manque justes les glaneuses...). 28 May 2008 9:31pm Betsy Barron from Glenmoore, United StatesGorgeous depth and tone - I do agree with the crop suggestion... but overall this image is stunning! 29 May 2008 12:49am @Betsy Barron: Thank you very much for your suggestion. Rather than a simple crop I did some rescalling. I think the new version is better. Natacha-photographie from Vendée, FranceBeautiful ! I like this picture for its prospect and these colors ! 29 May 2008 11:24am DarkElf from Perth, Australiaexcellent composition, i like the bale on the left drawing first attention... the detail and colours are superb as well! 29 May 2008 2:21pm MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomA really excellent composed shot, the colours and light are wonderful. 30 May 2008 1:17am Isao from nord-isère, FranceMagnifique photo : simplicité du sujet, traitement original, couleurs et luminosité qui font bien ressortir paille et ciel... une composition bien pensée, bravo ! 31 May 2008 11:29am Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanA very beautiful composition indeed! Colours are amazing and the DOF makes me want to jump into the screen! I really like it! 31 May 2008 2:37pm Bram Antareja from IndonesiaThe roll of his grass was very good. Processed his colour was very good, so as the cloud looked dramatic. 3 Jun 2008 12:47am vu@granby - Wolfgang from Granby, Québec, CanadaActually they are straw bales, c'et de la paille et non de l'herbe... 4 Jun 2008 12:57pm Henry from Boston, United StatesI like it.
